The て form is not a sentence on its own: it is the shape a verb takes before ください and much else. Three verbs are their own: する → して, くる → きて, いく → いって.
Grammar 1
る-verb: drop る, add て
A る-verb is the easy one: drop る and add て.

For an う-verb the last kana decides. う, つ and る all become って.
